The Brook Hill School’s Student of the Month for October, presented by the Bullard Rotary Club, has been named Alyssa Eden.

Alyssa, a junior at The Brook Hill Upper School, is the daughter of Patti and Tim Eden. She has two siblings,

Erica and Lauren.

She is a member of the National Honor Society, a worship leader and a member of the school cooking club. She also participates in school musicals, choir, show choir and the Brook Hill dance team.

In addition to her club involvement, she also plays volleyball, basketball and softball, all at the varsity level, and is a dance student.

Alyssa has been named a member of the Headmaster’s Honor Guard, all region in choir, a TAPPS solo medalist, the recipient of the 2010 Geometry Award, district honorable mention, and second-team all-district in volleyball as well as being named captain of the team, district basketball newcomer of the year in 2010, second-team all-district in basketball, and both first and second-team alldistrict in softball.

Her hobbies include going on mission trips to Africa, skiing with her family, going to the beach every summer, praise band in her church youth group, watching musicals and the Dallas Mavericks, fishing with her father, reading and singing.

After graduating from Brook Hill, she plans to attend college, but says she is still seeking God’s guidance in where to go. She wants to pursue a career in the medical field.
